It is with sadness—but with good memories—that we remember the Founding President of the Gastronomy on Stamps Study Unit, David Earl Wolfersberger. David passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 80. He and his wife, Kathleen, resided in St. Louis, Mo., during their career and family years. They have lived in Ocala, Fla., during their retirement. David served as President of the Gastronomy Unit for eight years and recently stepped away from that position. He was also Editor of The Philatelic Gourmet for four years. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
