About the Gastronomy on Stamps Study Unit

The Gastronomy on Stamps Study Unit was founded in 2018 to serve topical collectors interested in stamps related to food, gastronomy, food crops, cooking, and related subjects.

The Philatelic Gourmet July 2024 issue features A Very Cheesy Story, by Andrea Smith. Articles on Pyong Raengmyon (a UNESCO Intangible World Heritage food from North Korea) and a double-duty herb, Coriandrum savitum, appear in this issue. New stamp issue information and gastronomy stamp listing updates complete the issue. Quarterly issues of The Philatelic Gourmet are published in January, April, July and October.
