The Gastronomy on Stamps Study Unit was founded in 2018 to serve topical collectors interested in stamps related to food, gastronomy, food crops, cooking, and related subjects.
The Philatelic Gourmet July 2025 issue features the first in a series of articles by Pat Morgan about US Celebrate the Century stamps related to gastronomy — the article is titled “Mixing.” Other articles are by Michael R. Florer on The Poster Stamps of the Crescent Manufacturing Co.— if that doesn’t “ring a bell,” then do you remember Mapleine? And Wayne Youngblood presents A Gastronomically Rich Beyond-the-Book Cover. New stamp issue information and gastronomy stamp listing updates complete the issue. Quarterly issues of The Philatelic Gourmet are published in January, April, July and October.
